Head of Sgiliaith nominated to sit on the Welsh Language Partnership Council.

We are extremely pleased to announce that the head of Sgiliaith, Angharad Lloyd-Williams has been nominated to sit on the Welsh Government’s Welsh Language Partnership Council.

The council will be responsible for giving advice and making representations to Ministers in relation to the Welsh language strategy. They will provide support in implementing the Cymraeg 2050 – One Million speakers policy.

Dafydd Evans, Chief Executive of Grŵp Llandrillo-Menai noted.

“We are extremely pleased that Angharad has been appointed to this important council, it’s important that a voice from the Further Education sector assists the Welsh Government to realise the aim of one million speakers. I am certain that Angharad will be a strong and steadfast voice in confirming the importance of the FE sector in creating a truly bilingual country.”
